Resitting Exams

RE-SITTING EXAM VISA
This type of visa is for students who have been advised that they must re-sit an examination by the educational institute that they attend or have attended in the previous academic year.

REQUIREMENTS
The student should be re-sitting the examination for only first time. The student will be decided leave to enter for the period needed to take the exams plus a further two months.

To get this visa you will have to satisfy further criteria other than the basic prerequisites set out by the United Kingdom Immigration Authorities. You will have to explain confirmation from the educational institute you attend or have attended that you are needed to re-sit the examination. You will further have to show that you have not previously been granted this Visa to re-sit your examination.

ENTITLEMENTS
This type of visa will usually be granted to cover the period of the first available re-sit with a further 2 months to allow for time for the exam results to be received
